Aphasia

Aphasia is a language problem that affects ones ability to:

• speak / read / write
• understand speech or written words
• think of words when talking or writing

Aphasia gets in the way of a person’s ability to use or understand words. Aphasia does not impair the person’s intelligence. People who have aphasia may have difficulty speaking and finding the “right” words to complete their thoughts. They may also have problems understanding conversation, reading and comprehending written words, writing words, and using numbers.

Spontaneous Intraparenchymal hemorrhage (IPH)

Intracerebral hemorrhage occurs when a diseased blood vessel within the brain bursts, allowing blood to leak inside the brain. (The name means within the cerebrum or brain). The sudden increase in pressure within the brain can cause damage to the brain cells surrounding the blood.

Considering this happened on the left side – it’s lead to side effects around language (Aphasia)
